My name is Jennifer Testerman, and I am the proud owner of 2005's Linda Miltz Peoples Choice Award Winner. 

My cat is a copper eyed solid white Persian named Peter Cottontail. His show name is GC Purrden Me Gemz Crown Jewel. I would like to share with you what this award has done for Peter and myself, and how your vote could affect this year's winner.

Shortly after winning, Peter was on Channel 8 news.  Our local paper did an article about him, which was run with a picture of Peter and Kat Simons from Lite 98 FM. Not long after that, I received a phone call asking Peter to be in a children's movie...we were floored and gladly excepted the offer. From that movie, a series has been in the making.  Two books are out- the first being "GiGi God's Little Princess" and the second is  "The Royal Tea Party". Peter stars as Lord Fluffy in "GiGi, God's Little Princes", which is now out on DVD. The other movie is to be filmed at a later date. 

Peter currently has his own agent and is filming commercials. The most recent is for Shaw flooring which is currently airing Nationally. We have been very fortunate in all that this cat has had happen to him, but none of it would have been possible if Peter had not won the Linda Miltz award. The producers that hired Peter were looking for a white Persian that was great with people and extremely good with children. 

This award showed that, because he truly loves People and an audience! So , we hope you take the time to vote for your favorite cat or kitten this year because you never know what great things may await another great kitty!
