Entry Fees: Fees MUST accompany the entry form.   Overnight entries must waive signature.

Entries: Entries must be typed or printed legibly, signed and submitted on an official CFA entry form. On-line entry will be available via catshows.us.com. Entry clerk will call collect if questions arise concerning your entry. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to confirm receipt of entries. Club is not responsible for on-line and faxed entries not received due to communication errors. Paid entries will be entered before on-line and fax entries.

                       "No refunds for failure to bench."

Payments and fees: Email and faxed entries will be accepted at no additional charge if paid before the day of the show. Entries paid at the door are subject to a $5 fee, and all payments at the door will be in cash. A $35 check fee will be charged on all returned checks. No refunds for failure to bench. PAYPAL accepted.

Hours: Check-In on Saturday 7:30 - 8:30. Hours for exhibiters are 9AM-5 PM Saturday 9AM-3PM Sunday..   Advertised hours for the public are 9AM – 4PM Saturday, 9AM-3PM Sunday.

Show Hall: The Showplace Annex, 3002 Mechanicsville Turnpike, Richmond, VA. The Show Hall is both heated and air-conditioned. This is a Non-Smoking facility. Parking is free for exhibitors and spectators. Showplace phone number is 804-225-8877. Specific directions will accompany your confirmation.

There are a number of other pet friendly hotels in the area including Red Roof, Richmond Airport, 5203 Williamsburg Road Sandston, VA 23150 Phone: 804-440-5770. Mention SEPS for group rate of $54.99. Deadline 4/4/09 as well.

Supplies: Clay litter will be provided. Please bring your own litter pans, cat food, and water/food dishes.

Health: This is a non-vetted show. Exhibitors are strongly encouraged to have cats and kittens inoculated for FeLV/FIV. Cats must be free of fungus, fleas, ear/body mites and contagious diseases. Exhibitors in violation will be told to leave the show hall.

General: CFA Show rules will be strictly enforced. Copy of rules may be obtained for $5 from CFA, PO Box 1005, Manasquan, NJ 08736. All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. All Championship, Premiership, and registered Kitten entries will be scored for CFA National and Regional Awards. Registration number of cats must be printed in the catalog. It is the Exhibitors responsibility to check entry confirmation and notify entry clerk of any errors.

Household Pets: HHPs will be judged in all 6 rings. Adult cats (8 month or older) must be altered. Kittens must be at least 4 months of age.  No De-clawed cats are eligible for Show!

Benching: All benching will be by exhibitor. Benching requests made at the time of entry will be honored whenever possible. Cages are 22"Wx22"Hx22"D.

Linda Swope Memorial Awards: The Linda Swope Memorial Fraebel Crystal Frog trophies will be awarded to the Best Longhair and Shorthair Cats in Championship, Best Kitten and Best in Premiership.
